Nice to be here for the first time talking to you! I just got back from the J /24 South American Championship in Peru and the Brazilian J/24 championship. I won both with the sails I have been developing since winning the J/24 Worlds for the first time in 2006. My team went on to win the Worlds two more times in 2007 and 2009.
For about a year and a half we have been making aramid string-sail genoas and all the sailors that have used these sails won the races they participated in. I am sure the MatriX D4MP is the best cloth for making the new aramid genoas!
After two years being a successful independent sailmaker we are now a UK-Halsey part of the UK-Halsey group with our loft in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I will continue to design and test J/24 designs on the race course and the sails will be produced by Pedro Gianotti�s UK-Halsey loft in Texas. With the sails being made in Texas, any UK-Halsey customer around the world will be able to get the fastest J/24 sails in the world quickly. Adding my professional experience with the UK Halsey Technology I am sure that bring the best J/24 sail in the world!
