UK-Halsey Houston is one of the fast growing lofts in our group. The loft is led by Pedro Gianotti who is a craftsman and a very experienced sailmaker. Gianotti ran his own loft in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 15 years before coming to the USA to run a business is more stable economic conditions. He had survived the Argentinean economic tailspin of the early 90s and saw the writing on the wall just after the Millennium. That's when he loaded up the loft's equipment and moved to Texas. His loft is located near the mouth of Clear Lake at 1908 Hialeah Dr. UK-Halsey Houston is a full production facility complete with a computer-driven cutter.
According to Charles Ulmer, President of UK-Halsey International, "The Gianotti loft in Buenos Aires was one of UK Sailmakers' oldest franchises. Pedro has proved himself to be excellent one-design and offshore sailmaker. Customers in the Galveston Bay area will benefit greatly from their efforts."

UK Texas is centrally located in Seabrook. Take NASA Road 1 east until it ends at State Route 146 in Seabrook. Turn left on 146 (Bayport Boulevard) and go one quarter mile north. Next make a right on Hialeah Drive. There is a McDonalds on the corner. The loft is on the left side of the second block of Hialeah.
