Tom Andrewes, has been running a thriving business on the north side of Oahu. A sailmaker for nearly 30 years, Tom is a Kiwi who sailed to Hawaii in 1981 and has lived here and worked as a sailmaker ever since.
Situated in Kailua, Honolulu, Tom runs a small loft with the able assistance of his two sons and mascot Pua, a miniature potbellied pig. Sails and repairs for monohulls make up the bulk of his business in addition to catamaran, small boat sails and canvas work. Located close to Kaneohe Yacht Club, Tom offers pickup and delivery service to all yachts and yacht clubs.
Cruising the Pacific and New Zealand is always on his mind and Tom welcomes visiting yachties to use his services and have a good yarn. You won't get more value for your dollar anywhere else in town -- to say nothing of the good dose of Aloha Spirit you'll get.
