Charles “Butch” Ulmer
is an outstanding sailor and spokesman for the sport. He is past Commodore
of The Storm Trysail Club, former Trustee and Race Committee Chairman
of the Larchmont YC, Senior Member of the New York YC, a member of the
Cruising Club of America as well as the US Naval Academy Sailing Squadron.
He has campaigned every kind of boat from the Olympic classes to 12-Meters
and Maxi Boats. There is no other watch captain you want if you want
to finish fast and safe in an ocean race.

There are few sailors with the experience and knowledge that Jeff Tyrrel has. He was the navigator on boats that were first and third Overall in the Newport - Bermuda Race, he has sailed all the way around the world in the Europa ‘92 rally, he ran his own rigging company for 10 years in New Rochelle, and he set up and ran the UK-Halsey’s membrane facility for five years. Based on western Long Island Sound, he has raced extensively including over a two dozen Vineyard races, over 10 Bermuda races and he has probably raced around Stratford Shoal 100 times. If you are a racer or a cruiser, Jeff has the experience and the knowledge to make your boat a better boat and to help you choose the right sails for your needs.

of City Island's most famous sailmaking families, has been making
sails since the late 1940s. He is one of the few sailmakers still
